Almost anything can be made to run from batteries. Got an idea? Contact me!
So here is one thing I've made for myself that I may as well try to sell. I would routinely start to fill my tub, walk away to do something else only to come back to cold running water and a cold bath. So I made a tub level sensor with an LED alarm to show when the tub is close to full, and an audio alarm to sound off when it is. How sweet it is! This proto version uses two 9v batteries, but the next will be what? Of course it will be a solar rechargeable version! I'll make the cable a mile long if you want, but the alarm can be heard across the house (unless you have the stereo cranking). Contact me.

Amplified Boom Vest
Bet you haven't seen one of these before, 'cause I looked and looked and couldn't find one to buy. I call it my Caroling Jacket. Every year when we go Christmas caroling my guitar just isn't quite loud enough. Last years version was two mini Marshals on wide belt. Got me some volume but the sound is kinda like, well, two mini Marshals on a belt. This year I've outdone myself. This is the wandering minstrals dream jacket. It has a 20 watt stereo amp, four 4"x 6" low freq range speakers, a chorus pedal, and powered by what else but solar rechargeable Lithium Ion batteries! This puppy sounds pretty awesome, especially for a jacket! Just power it up, put it on, plug it in and walk around to your hearts desire. Enough power to get your heard on a Nashville street corner, but no too much that they'll call the Po Po on ya. It'll run four hours of caroling and still have plenty of voltage left. My mommy made a special Christmassy looking shawl to go over it, but shes MY mommy so you'll have to make your own. Contact me if you have ever thought about needing more volume when mobile.
Expect this page to grow over time. Come back ya'll now ya hear!
